Blessed with a diverse array of talents, our Tauck Directors (TDs), supplier partners and local experts take special pleasure in sharing their passions with our guests. Hosted by our own Dustin Smith, we’ve created insideTauck, a new platform to virtually connect with one another and share the world’s great destinations, cultural sites, expert knowledge and fun experiences to inspire future travel. To date, there have been 18 live events, including art lectures, museum tours, city bike rides, historical insights, magic shows and more, with an average of 1,450 attendees per event! Enjoy our top 5 experiences below:
Pompeii with Claudio Mollo
Our virtual visit to Pompeii with long-time partner and friend Claudio Mollo topped the charts with more than 3,000 attendees. If you’re in the mood for an Italian history lesson, you might want to take time out to view this popular event.
Antarctica with Peter Bassett
At the top of so many of our guests’ bucket lists, voyaging to Antarctica is nothing short of exhilarating. And when you see this wonderland through the eyes of expert naturalist Peter Bassett, you’ll be adding it to yours as well.
Bicycling through Florence
Going local is a favorite pastime for guests who travel with us, which is why Bicycling through Florence with Tauck Director Birgit Ensslin and Tauck local guide Bill Dillon was among our most watched insideTauck events – and a great way to see the sights! Take a ride with them here.
van Gogh with partner Jill Steenhuis
The art of Vincent van Gogh figures prominently in the places we explore in Provence as do memories of the time he lived there. Learning insights about the artist himself from van Gogh scholar and artist Jill Steenhuis makes his paintings more meaningful still.
Beethoven with TD Michael Shaw, PhD
If music stirs your soul, Michael Shaw’s presentation on the life and music of one of the world’s most revered composers – Ludwig van Beethoven – will be a most delightful interlude for you. A Tauck Maestro for over ten years, and a Tauck Director along the Rhine since 2017, Michael eloquently shares his passion for the music of Imperial Vienna here!
I have such fond memories of my trips with Tauck. It will be enjoyable to watch some of the virtual tours.
