  4. Please, please, a trip to Calabria in Southern Italy. Aspromonte, Mammola, Gioiosa Ionica, Gioiosa Marina, Locri, Gerace, Reggio, the bronze warriors on display in the Reggio museum, Greco-Italian heritage, Carthaginans, Romans, Normans, so much untold history there ……
    So many Italian-American sons and daughters have deep roots there, and do not know the history of their ancestors.
