Having started with Tauck in 1991, the year we became a global tour operator, I have been blessed to witness tremendous growth and change—both in our company and in myself. Over these years, I’ve been fortunate to experience personal and professional development opportunities that have shaped me in ways I never imagined. I’ve been part of numerous new business ventures, embarked on journeys that have taken me to all seven continents, met incredible people from around the globe, and been immersed in cultures that have expanded my perspective and enriched my life.
How do you distill three decades of meaningful experiences, growth, and relationships into a single moment? The truth is, my career here has been defined by countless poignant moments—thanks to the incredible people, visionary leaders, and dedicated mentors who have supported me along the way. These relationships have left an indelible mark on my journey, and I have never taken them for granted.
One of the guiding principles I’ve carried with me throughout my time at Tauck is the philosophy of carpe diem—seize the day. This mindset has inspired me to live each day to the fullest, to focus on what truly matters, and to cherish the opportunities and connections I’ve been given. It has also reminded me to embrace change and uncertainty with optimism and resilience, knowing that every challenge presents an opportunity for growth. I am constantly reminded why I do what I do and why Tauck’s mission matters so deeply.
I realize that my Tauck moment is right here, right now. It is this moment, celebrating not only our history but also our shared vision for the future. It’s a moment that encapsulates everything Tauck has meant to me: the pride in being part of a company that prioritizes excellence and innovation, the joy of working alongside colleagues who inspire and uplift each other, and the privilege of contributing to experiences that create lasting memories for our guests.
