Our first Tauck tour was a river cruise on the Danube in 2019. We had heard very good things about Tauck, so a group of our friends decided to take this river cruise from Prague to Budapest with a few days in each city. We soon learned how special Tauck is and how it differs from other tour companies. The food and wine were top shelf and some of our friends on the trip were celebrated by the ship’s director on their birthdays and were made to feel special. The show stopper was a dinner in the Palais Pallavicini Palace in Vienna. A wonderful dinner with white glove service plus a musical performance by opera singers that was very classy, and enjoyed by all.
Although it has taken us a few years to plan and schedule another tour with Tauck, we finally did it this year in 2025. We are looking forward to Exploring the Douro, Lisbon and Madrid in June.
