Sascha Mayerer is the CEO of Historic Highlights of Germany, a role he has held for over 14 years. He is devoted to promoting Germany’s most charming destinations, particularly 17 smaller cities that have captured his heart. Holding a Master’s degree in Economic Geography – and blessed with boundless enthusiasm – Sascha is adept at creating and leading engaging itineraries that spotlight the country’s diverse offerings. He jests that the only downside to his travels is the amount of irresistible local cuisine, beer and wine, which are not particularly kind to the waistline.
Thank you for sharing this video. It was quite informative. My wife and our 2 daughters recently returned from your Canyonlands tour. We had a great time, and words and pictures cannot describe the beauty of the national parks we visited. Our tour director Catalina Munoz, and the coach driver Dave, were absolutely fantastic. One of our daughters developed motion sickness one day and they took special steps to take care of her. Our travel counselor Jeremy Salinas was also top shelf and excellent. We want to book another trip with Tauch around May 2026, for a European River Cruise. This is when our 2 daughters will be finished with their college final exams. I already informed Jeremy that we will book with him again once the 2026 schedule is released and we select our tour. We have all decided that we are not even going to consider any other tour companies due to our fantastic experience with Tauch.
