Welcoming spring and the 2024 travel season

As I write this, it’s a glorious bright blue day here in our Wilton Woods home office. Spring is upon us!  And with each passing day, more and more guests will join us in travels around the globe.

I just returned from Europe where our Tauck team kicked off our 2024 river cruising season in Vienna with Scylla, our close partner for 20 years. We also had the pleasure of spending time with old friends at the Hotel Bristol and Hotel Imperial, as well as with our long-standing family partners at Palais Pallavicini. It was inspirational; the energy and excitement were palpable. Everyone at Tauck and our partners are so eager to welcome our guests back and are working hard to ensure your faith in Tauck is well placed.

Although our rebound from the pandemic exceeded our expectations over the past two years, there were many challenges – ripple effects from the shutdown – such as a recovering airline industry and staffing shortages at hotels and restaurants. And though we must always be prepared and expect the unexpected, Tauck, as well as our partners, have made significant investments and conducted intensive planning for the upcoming travel season. We have never been more prepared.

A few weeks ago, we had our annual Tauck Director Seminar here in Connecticut. More than 500 of us gathered – perhaps the largest such gathering in Tauck’s history – and, as with my experience in Europe, joy and gratitude filled the air. What a spectacular event! We spent that week focused on specific plans about how to better serve you in 2024. There was an amazing shared spirit, a celebratory feeling that we have survived with our values and sense of purpose intact – that we have never been stronger or more eager to help show you the world.

We can’t begin to express our gratitude that you chose us to make your travel dreams a reality. We take that trust very seriously.

I look forward to seeing you on the road in 2024.

  1. We are scheduled to take a “long awaited and delayed” Tauk SCOTLAND trip in two weeks’ time. I am really looking forward to it. We love the Tauk tours and will continue to take every opportunity we can to schedule our future trips to Europe and abroad using our travel agent’s expertise and Tauk. Thanks so much.

  2. We have now done 3 Tauck trips including the Amsterdam to Budapest river cruise and I think I recognise the Palais Pallavicini.
We are looking forward to another Tauck experience in 2024 or 2025.

  3. I have had the pleasure of travelling with Tauck on 12 wonderful interesting tours to all corners of the globe from the Far East to Russia to the Middle East to South Africa to South America to Europe and to Antarctica. Tauck has always conducted a top notch tour. The tour directors, Headquarters staff, local guides and everyone else at Tauck with whom I have come in contact are always courteous, professional and well organized. I look forward to travelling with Tauck in the future. Thank you for making my travels so comfortable, educational, and interesting.

  6. We look forward to our 14 member family trip with you this June. As we are in our 80’s, this may be the last big trip for us, regrettably. We have fond memories of celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary eight years ago. We hope you all are well and amped up for this summer; we are.

  7. Well said Jeremy,
As we look forward to our Agean trip on Wind Star in June and our Douro River cruise in September we look back with fond memories on previous trips we have taken with Tauck over the years. Thank you Tauck and thanks to all the wonderful tour guides who have been an inspiration for us to travel and explore more. In July 1997 we took our first trip with the company to the Canadian Rockies. Banff, Jasper, Calgary and the Cariboos and climbing up a glacier to the “little Matterhorn”. It doesn’t seem like twenty four years ago ! George

  8. My husband and I are grateful to Tauck and it’s incredible team. We took our maiden trip with Tauck last summer. We went on the Normandy, Brittany, Loire Valley, and Paris excursion. It was a magical experience! We’ve book the Switzerland: Europe’s Crown Jewel for 2025, and look forward to many future vacations with Tauck.
